champions_sharron Stonehenge videos (i.e., Stonehenge videos):
    High cal ones:
    1. Mystical Misty Sunrise at Stonehenge | 0:46: A gentle walk through Stonehenge. No sound to speak of. Kind of nice. Yours truly's favorite Stonehenge---it gives you a sense of what it is like to be there Short enough for the classroom.
    2. Sun rises over Stonehenge on a frosty spring morning setting the icy dawn ablaze. | 1:41: Kill the sound. Another video that gives you the sense of being there---as the centuries pass. Marginally short enough for the classroom.
    3. Wide shot pan of Stonehenge at sunset | 0:18: A poetic vision of Stonehenge. Short enough for the classroom.
    4. Rewriting Stonehenge's history (UCL) | 7:38: Mike Parker Pearson explains the new knowledge of Stonehenge circa 2013. Too long for the classroom.
    5. Winter Solstice Sunset at Stonehenge | 0:12: Gone for good it seems. An animation on alignment astronomy at Stonehenge. According to Mike Parker Pearson, it's possible that the winter solstice sunset, NOT summer solstice sunrise, was the main reason for the Stonehengers (AKA Neolithic Britons) for the alignment astronomy of Stonehenge. Both events share the same alignment, of course. See Wikipedia: Archaeoastronomy and Stonehenge. Short enough for the classroom.
    6. Winter Sunset Over Stonehenge | Time-lapse | Countryfile Extra | 7:14: A winter solstice a Stonehenge time-lapsed. Beautiful, but too long for the classroom in toto, but the first 1:40 is good. Alas, a dead link.
    7. Aerial views of Stonehenge. | 2:52: Stonehenge, the drone perspective. Good for the classroom for a minute or so.
    Low cal ones:
    1. Sketchup 7 Podium animation Time Lapse: Stonehenge | 1:07: A zoom into and fly through Stonehenge. Not very good really. Short enough for the classroom.
    2. Stonehenge Midsummer Rise Simulation | 0:59: An animation on alignment astronomy at Stonehenge. The Sun rises over Heelstone as seen from the center of Stonehenge on the summer solstice which is on or about June 21 and is the start of summer. Not very short, but short enough for the classroom.
    3. Stonehenge Summer Solstice celebration 2009 Excerpt | 3:06: Not much sound. Visually a good close up look at Stonehenge and the milling crowd post-dawn. Too long for classroom.
    4. Stonehenge solstice reconstruction | 3:03: Man builds own Stonehenge to study solstices. The first few seconds showing a crowd at sunrise on summer solstice is good. Too long for classroom.
    5. Night of the Demon | 1957 | Theatrical Trailer (US) | 2:19: What Stonehenge was doing in Night of the Demon (1957 film) was never explained. Film director: Jacques Tourneur (1904--1977).
