Tibetan archer

Caption: Tibetan archer from vicinity of Gyantse---a dangerous southpaw.

"Archery is the art, practice, or skill of propelling arrows with the use of a bow ..." (Wikipedia: Archery).

The Tibetan archer seems to be wearing a rather inadequate bracer (arm-guard) to protect inner part of his bow-holding arm, but yours truly supposes he knows best (see also Wikipedia: Archery: Protective equipment).
