Image 1 is an artist's conception orbits of HD 188753, a hierachical triple-star system. There is hot Jupiter exoplanet (NOT shown) orbiting the primary star.

Image Caption 2: Image 2 is the copyrighted artist's conception of the PSR J0337+1715 system in the news-and-views article General relativity verified by a triple-star system, (Clifford M. Will, 2018, Nature) (see also the research article Universality of free fall from the orbital motion of a pulsar in a stellar triple system (Archibald et al., 2018, Nature)). There is a resemblance between the two triple-star systems of Image 1 and Image 2.

The PSR J0337+1715 system gives a strong verification of general relativity (GR), in particular the equivalence principle, in particular the strong equivalence principle.

Among other things, the confirmation really gives a sound basis to the modern GR concept of inertial frames.
