As the diagram shows, if angular velocity is a constant, then the angular velocity just equals any change in angle divided by the corresponding change in time:
Δθ -- = angular velocity , Δt
where the upper-case Greek letter Δ (delta) means change in and the lower-case Greek letter θ (theta) is the usual symbol for angle.
