One meaning of asterism is just constellation. In modern astro jargon, an asterism is traditional constellation NOT included in the IAU-defined 88 constellations. The first meaning applies here.

The creator Huang Shang (fl. 1193) probably just made up some of the asterisms, but others may have been common traditional constellations in Chinese astronomy.

Yours truly can't identify anything much, except Polaris at the center.

Yours truly is a bit surprised to see that Chinese astronomy used some form of equatorial coordinates---but yours truly guesses yours truly shouldn't be.
