The Palace of Westminster houses the British Parliament which includes the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

In the foreground is the Thames and at the right, Big Ben.

On the Thames front is the terrace where you can eat your lunch from the cafeteria---yours truly had lunch there in 1994 June as the guest of a friend who worked as a researcher for the House of Commons Library.
