SN 2000cx Ia in NGC 524
OBJECT: SN 2000cx Ia in (SO-a galaxy) which in Leda is
NGC 524: Leda.
DISCOVERY: 2000jul17.5 UT by the Lick Observatory Supernova Search (LOSS).
MAXIMUM: 2000jul26.7 +/- 0.1 UT (JD 2451752.2 +/- 0.1) in B (li2001; jha2006).
See the US Navy Observatory Julian Date Converter.
This day of the year 208 and remember 2000 was a leap as a century
year divisible by 4.
SUPERNOVA of the YEAR: M = 102.
HEADER: Header Common header information for this supernovae.
The common header may (or may not) be updated relative to the header information given here
(D. J. Jeffery (2007jan01)).
SPECTRUM LOG:
JD times for the SN 2000cx spectra of li2001
Bmax 2000jul26.7 +/- 0.1 UT (JD 2451752.2 +/- 0.1) (li2001; jha2006).
I believe all li2001 spectra are rest frame.
li2001 has not provided UTs or JDs.
But all the observations were from Lick and so must have UT .3 +/- .3.
So we can estimate the JDs.

SUSPECT Index: SN 2000cx Ia.
There are 27 spectra all from li2001, except li2001 report only 26 spectra: one may be a redundant spectrum.
They give Bmax as JD 2451752.2 +/- 0.1 which agrees with jha2006.
CORRECTIONS: heliocentric velocity 2423 +/- 37 km/s [2007jun29] from
NGC 524: Leda.
Galactic foreground 0.36/4=.09 reddening from
NGC 524: Leda.
But the reddening is derived from
Schlegel et al. (1998)
OBSERVATIONS: From
1) David Jeffery: no old catalog
2) David Branch: some in /home/branch/synow/sn2002cx, but whose or when is unclear.
3) Eddie Baron: some, but they seem to be just li2001 spectra.
4) SUSPECT: 27 li2001 spectra and that's all.
DATE: 2000 with 2000jul26.7 +/- 0.1 UT (JD 2451752.2 +/- 0.1) for Bmax gives:

At present, precise UT and JD dates have to be estimated as they are not given.
As a check the author phase is given.
