See the US Navy Observatory Julian Date Converter.
This day of the year 290.
SUPERNOVA of the YEAR: M = 135.

HEADER: Header Common header information for this supernovae.
The common header may (or may not) be updated relative to the header information here
         (D. J. Jeffery (2006jan01)).

Note that the Julian dates of the 99ee spectrum are given in an erratum.
Note also that even though hamuy2002 is the same group as stritzinger2002, hamuy2002's Bmax
is 0.1 day different than stritzinger2002, but stritzinger2002 is the photometry paper and
so we'll adopt the stritzinger2002 Bmax.

       SUSPECT Index.

       SUSPECT Index: SN 1999ee Ia.
There 25 spectra all from hamuy2002 and this seems to be all the hamuy2002 spectra.
But note that SUSPECT have the phases relative to Bmax different from stritzinger2000/hamuy2002,
and so are probably wrong since it gives hamuy2002 as the source.

CORRECTIONS: Heliocentric velocity 3419 +/- 3 km/s (2007jun28) from
              IC 5179 (Leda).
              Galactic foreground reddening 0.09/4=.0225 from
              IC 5179 (Leda).
              This is derived from
              Schlegel et al. (1998).

OBSERVATIONS: From (1). 1) SUSPECT: all from hamuy2002. 2) David Jeffery old catalog: all hamuy2002 spectra of one kind or another. 3) Eddie Baron: none 4) David Branch /home/branch/synow/99ee: just the hamuy2002 spectra. SPECTRUM LOG: JD times for the SN 1999ee spectra of hamuy2002. Bmax 1999oct17.6 +/- 0.5 (JD 2451469.1 +/- .5) (stritzinger2002, p. 2108). hamuy2002 (p. 421) has corrected for redshift with 3498 km/s. The 7600 A telluric lines appear to be shifted. So do the end wavelength compared to hamuy2002 Table 1 (of the erratum). But this is hard to tell since the ends always get muddled in every different version of spectra. JD Bmax Heliocentric velocity (Leda, 2007jul01) 1469.1 3419.
