Moon formation and evolution videos (i.e., Moon formation and Moon evolution videos):
    1. Giant impact hypothesis videos (i.e., Giant impact hypothesis videos):
      1. Moon Formation Animation | 0:16: Looks authoritative, someone's supercomputer computer simulation, but there's no credit info. So-so for the classroom.
      2. Moon formation - the standard giant impact model | 0:31: From Caltech, and so authoritative. Good for the classroom.
      3. How the Moon Was Formed | 1:56: Show this one. Dramatic and made from clips from authoritative videos. The heavy bombardment is speeded unrealistically for dramatic effect. Good for the classroom.
          Real thing in miniature:
Aerial footage shows Iceland volcano spewing lava, 2023dec19 | 1:17: Fire and ice, a glimpse of the primeval Earth---worlds in creation. The Sundhnukur eruptions (2023--) are disrupting life on the Reykjanes Peninsula---but if you choose to live on a divergent boundary ... Good for the classroom.
      4. Collision That Formed The Moon | 8:36: Seems authoritative. Too long for the classroom.
      5. Formation of the Moon | 24:25 with jump to 11:00: Seems authoritative. Covers the hypothesis that Theia was the giant impactor. Just show 11:00--13:00 the actual formation part which is good for the classroom.
    2. Moon evolution videos (i.e., and Moon evolution videos):
      1. NASA | Evolution of the Moon | 2:41: From NASA, so authoritative. But it's the evolution of the Moon, post-formation. It looks pretty convincing for everyday life during heavy bombardment and the Late Heavy Bombardment. A bit long, but good for the classroom.
