methane diagram

Caption: Structural formula (i.e., diagram) of methane (CH_4) molecule of organic chemistry. It looks OK to me, but the illustrator describes it as feeble.

    Features:

    1. Methane is the arguably the simplest hydrocarbon: i.e., an organic molecule consisting only of hydrogen and carbon atoms.

    2. One could argue that there are simpler radicals: e.g., the methyl radical (CH_3+).

But to quote Casca (84--42? BCE), "It's all organic chemistry to me." (Act I, Scene 2, scroll down ≅ 80%, Julius Caesar (c.1599), by William Shakespeare (1564--1616)).
