Julius Caesar, Naples bust

Caption: Bust of Julius Caesar (100--44 BCE)---Old Caius---in the Naples National Archaeological Museum.

I've always liked his hair style---and he conquered the world with it---well he conquered Gaul/France with it.

Arguably, Caesar's best achievement was his calendrical reform of 46--45 BCE which established the Julian calendar.

The modern Gregorian calendar is only a small reform of the Julian calendar.
