    3. On the left, we have the equatorial coordinate system attached to the Earth.

    4. On the right, we have the horizontal coordinate system attached the ground (i.e., a small region on Earth).

    5. For Las Vegas, Nevada, the geographical coordinates are latitude 36° 10'30" N (rounded to 36° N), longitude 115° 08'11" W (rounded to 115° W).

    6. The applet buttons are largely self-explanatory.
