They can also fill out the form pre-test if they have symptoms and select that they have not tested positive yet, but has some symptoms. Covid-19 Warnings: Do not send any notifications to your students or co-workers regarding potential exposure to COVID-19 without first consulting with UNLV's Clery Act Coordinator, Ashley Angell (702-895-3833, ashleigh.angell@unlv.edu). Such a notice may share protected personal information and may be a violation of federal law, which will result in heavy fines. We will work with you to provide communication to your students that is honest, accurate, and useful, while ensuring that we meet all our legal requirements. As of 2021sep02 (but maybe not later), a warning will probably NOT be approved without a positive test by a person who have led to exposure.

Isolation and Quarantine: UNLV Campus Health Requirements: "If you test positive for COVID-19 or are exposed to someone who has tested positive, you must follow CDC guidelines regarding isolation or quarantine: A specific rule from on isolation (valid on 2021sep02) from "UNLV Coronavirus Information coronavirus@unlv.edu" is:
    After an exposure:
    1. If fully vaccinated, no need to quarantine (can come to class), but recommended to take a test 3-5 days after exposure.
    2. If not vaccinated, they should quarantine 10 days after exposure and can end after the 10th day as long as they are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
    3. There's also the option to shorten quarantine to 7 days as long as they show no symptoms and take a negative test on day 5 or later.
    4. If the student meets any of these criteria, they are safe to come back to campus.

All instructors and students should read that over. The main point is that masks are required in indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status.
