My research group focuses on fundamental  astrophysical problems.

Current research interest includes:

1. • Accretion process in astrophysical disks around black holes, compact objects, young stars and planets
   

2. • Planet formation and detection in protoplanetary disks
   

3. • Astrophysical fluid hydrodynamics and  magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) 
   

We use large scale MHD numerical simulations to understand the dynamical processes and Monte-Carlo radiative transfer simulations to be compared with observations.
