When one has friends all over as I do, I can only send a general greeting. I'm still at UNLV in Las Vegas, where I'm likely to stay for some more years.
An astronomer Christmas carol by William Herschel (1738-1822) - Symphony No 12 in D Major | 2nd movement 4:26--11:30 and an image poem below.
I have all the best hopes and wishes for you-all in the new year.

Caption: Bethlehem with two persons, who a friend tells me are probably a woman and her daughter with their donkey. "It was taken on Christmas Day, 1898. Note: As the source shows a number of 1898 pictures 'reminiscent' of the biblical story in and around Bethlehem (featuring a couple, a donkey, sometimes a baby, etc.) it seems likely that at least some of the pictures were staged."
