The Lesbian, Gay & Straight Friends Square
Dance Group has over 20 dancers that are meeting every Wednesday at 7:30pm in
the lobby of the Nevada SPCA, 4800 W. Dewey Drive (vicinity of Decatur &
Russell). This Wednesday, October 24th, a free evening of
dance instruction is offered to any interested Contra dancers and their
friends. The dance group has an abundance of leads, so any singles
that would like to dance follow would be especially welcome.

Express meets every Wednesday evening, 6:30 - 8:45 pm. Charleston
Heights Arts Center, 801 S. Brush Street, LV, $3 - $4.
SUNDAYS: Israeli Dancing at
Dance Charisma, 3650 S. Jones Blvd, Ste. #16 (north of the NE corner of
Twain and Jones). 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

An Afternoon with the Nevada
Old-time Fiddlers. Sahara West Library, Multipurpose Room,
3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a captivating performance by the Nevada
Old-time Fiddlers Association as they perform on their fiddles, guitars, basses,
mandolins, banjos, and other instruments. It's fun for the whole family!
You'll recognize some of the faces of those playing for the contra dances.
THURSDAY, November 1: DANCES OF UNIVERSAL PEACE,
at Christ the King
Catholic Church, in the "Community Center" (north side of the parking
lot), 4925 S Torrey Pines Dr.,
Southwestern corner of Torrey Pines and
Tropicana. 7:00 to 9:00
PM (with a little time for community at the end). $10 donation or whatever you wish.

dances: December 6.
FRIDAY, November 2 and 16: Israeli
Dancing at Ner Tamid Synagogue, located just north of the intersection
of Highway 215 and Valle Verde, in Henderson. After exiting the freeway,
go north to the first stop light, and the synagogue is on the left.
These events are free, start after to service (around 9 pm), and last for 1

DANCE at Charleston Heights Arts Center. 6:30 Orientattion,
dancing from 7 - 10.
