How about celebrating the end of the hot summer in the alpine splendor of Utah? The Wasatch Wiggle dance weekend still has space available, and it's not that far to drive. It is also one of the lowest cost camps around. The main guest band, Avant Gardeners, includes Laura Light and George Paul, from Virginia - they played at a Las Vegas dance, concert, and workshop about four years ago. And Brenda Goodwin, the organizer from Salt Lake City and who has also called at our dances, does an awesome job of catering for the weekend.

Here's a chance to come to a great dance weekend, Wasatch Wiggle, Sept. 7-9 in nearby Utah! In the mountains above Park City (in Guardsman Pass if you know the area) is a beautiful dance hall at Camp Cloud Rim. Perfect, spacious wood floor snuggled up against a dramtic wall of windows overlooking alpine Lake Brimhall.

We have the exciting talent of Erik Weberg calling with the Avant Gardeners. Both favorites across the country, they will unite along with local favorites The Bellows Fellows to present you with dancing that ranges from the riotous to the trancendental. Although the weekend will be mostly contra dancing, there will be some occasional visits from the English country traditions. Erik's clear concise calling, kind demeanor, and dry wit will have you smiling and dancing effortlessly as the tunes of the Avant Gardeners transport you to foot stomping heaven!
