Monday, May 21
ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCING at the Jewel Box Theatre
Clark County Library, 1301 E. Flamingo Rd. 
6:30 - 8:45 pm
 
Relax after a "day at the office" and come dance the dances of past times, of Old England, and of Victorian England, with a few more modern renditions thrown in for variety.  Free.

We're offering a COOL alternative to Memorial Day highway travel:  Stay in town and enjoy an evening of camaraderie and fun, with the band "112 and Then Some".  Beginner orientation is at 6:30 pm; dancing is from 7 to 10 pm.  $3 to $6.

Regularly scheduled dancing:
 
Wednesday evenings, Ethnic Express international folk dancing, 6:30 to 8:45 pm at CHAC.  $3 to $4.
 
Sunday evenings, Israeli folk danicng, 6 pm at Dance Charisma, 3650 Jones Blvd., from 6 to 9:30 pm.  $15.
 
Friday, June 2nd:  There is also Israeli dancing after the service at the new Jewish temple, Ner Tamid, on Friday nights - the next scheduled night of dancing is June 2nd.  These events are free, and start around 8:30 - 9 pm, depending on when the service is over, and last for 1 to 1.5 hours.  The temple is located just north of the intersection of Highway 215 and Valle Verde, in Henderson.  After exiting the freeway, go north to the first stop light, and the temple is on the left.
