NEW:  One of = these will host=20 the Las Vegas String Band, which is a group of fiddlers = from=20 the NV Old-Time Fiddlers, including state champion fiddler, Rick=20 Seligman.
 
The Las Vegas String Band = will have five performances on the Fiddler's Green = Stage. =20
Friday at 5:30 pm and 8:45 pm.  =
Saturday at 11:45 am and 6:00 pm.  =
Sunday at 2:45 pm. 
 

Friday - Sunday,=20 October 13-15: 17th Annual=20 Bluegrass Festival at Logandale,=20 NV     

The Southern Nevada Bluegrass Music Society will present the 17th = annual=20 Logandale Bluegrass Festival, October 13-15, at the Clark County = Fairgrounds in=20 Logandale (North on I-15 from LV). Local, regional and national bands = will take=20 the stage. The weekend will also include music workshops, band scramble, = 24-hour=20 jamming, and food & craft vendors. NEW:   Saturday, October 14:  D-Squared at=20 Garage-Ma-Hall, 6300 W. Tropical Parkway
 
Don Charles and Deb Guesner of D-Squared present folk music = accompanied by=20 a mix of guitar, banjo, mandola, harp concertina, accordion and = humor. =20 "Tied to the central mountains of Arizona, D-Squared creates music with = the=20 ecpected sense and sensibility of the wide-open vistas of desert = life." =20 This is one of the last concerts in Las Vegas commenorating the Fifth = Annual=20 Daniel Pearl Music Days (www.music-days.org), a global = concert and=20 celebration of the ideals of tolerance, friendship and humanity.  = The event=20 is inspired by the life and work of Daniel Pearl., the Wall Street = Jounal report=20 (and accomplished violinist) who was kidnapped and murdered in Kirachi,=20 Pakistan, in 1999.  Info:  456-7925.  8. pm., $10 = donation=20 recommended.

We're adding another contra dance, aka Barn Dance, to the fall = schedule, to=20 be held at the Blue Diamond Recreation Center.

Saturday, November 4:  Yellow Bird Indian=20 Dancers
