A last minute reminder:  We have a = great=20 out-of-town caller tonight, Brenda Goodwin-Cole from Salt Lake = City.  And=20 CHAC keeps the hall really cool for the summer dances, = so Beat=20 the Heat and dance up a storm tonight at Charleston = Heights..

[This is just for the guys out there = who are shy=20 about coming by themselves:  Although our dances are danced as = "couples",=20 we rely on a balance of gender with whomever walks in the door.  = I'm told=20 that in Southern California, there is usually more guys than gals at a = typical=20 contra dance.  However, in LV, the opposite occurs, and our = gender=20 inbalance invariably is with more gals than guys.  So, we encourage = you to=20 come out for a fun time - you will not be lacking for partners for=20 dancing.  Remember, the purpose of these events is to enjoy the = dancing and=20 the music - and we encourage folks to change partners after each=20 dance.  You end up dancing with everyone in the hall, anyways, just = from=20 the form of the dances.]

And gals, keep on=20 coming!

(Earlier message below)
