DISCOVERY:   2002jan29 by amateur  Yoji Hirose of Chigasaki, Kanagawa-ken.
MAX:  2002feb07 +/- 2 UT n B from \citet{gal-yam2002}.
           This day of the year 38.
SUPERNOVA of the YEAR:  42.
