OBJECT:  SN 1994D Ia in NGC 4526 (S0).  In Leda it is
         NGC 4526 (Leda).
DISCOVERY:  1994mar07 by Treffers et al. 
            CfA Supernova List.
MAXIMUM:  1994mar21.0 (JD 2449432.5) in B according (patat1996, p. 114).  
          See the US Navy Observatory Julian Date Converter.
          This day of the year 80.
SUPERNOVA of the YEAR:  4.

HEADER:  Header Common header information for this supernovae.
         The common header may (or may not) be updated relative to the header information here. 
         (D. J. Jeffery (2007jan01)).

COMMENTS:  This is a core normal (CN) SN Ia.

           The meikle1996 spectra must have been downloaded from Peter Meikle in 1997 or about then.
           So they come after the paper and may be better?

CORRECTIONS:  Heliocentric velocity 602 +/- 26 km/s (2007jul10) and 
              v_heliocentric corrected for CMB radiation 932 km/s from
              NGC 4526 (Leda).
              Actually NED claims the heliocentric velocity is 448 +/- 8 km/s.  So who is right.
              See NED.
              I'll trust Leda just for consistency.
              Galactic foreground .10/4... =.025 from 
              NGC 4526 (Leda).

These can be downloaded from SUSPECT 4) Meikle group 5) Eddie Baron has Filippenko and Meikle group spectra and some from Brian Schmidt in FITS format. 6) David Branch has a bunch in /home/branch/synow/94D, but where from? SPECTRUM LOG: JD times for the SN 1994D spectra of various observers. Bmax from patat1996 where 1994mar21.0 (JD 2449432.5) with maybe a day uncertainty.
