The AAO SN 1987A polarimetry is detailed at

but not directly downloadable it seems.

But nothing with the database has been done since 1998 it seems.
Maybe something has been done with the data.

The data is available as a TSP package.   See TSP packaging:

Subject: 87A polarimetry

Hi David

it took a bit of digging, but I've unearthed the 87A polarimetry.

The files are available via anonymous ftp at ftp.aao.gov.au, cd to
/pub/local/ras/pol

The files have been converted to ascii. The conversion program only
handles 2 dimensions, so there are a pile of files. The file name is
hopefully clear:

e.g. 880208_6500_u.dat

DATE_LAMBDA_TYPE.dat

DATE is YYMMDD
LAMBDA is rough central wavelength in Angstroms
TYPE is:
i - integrated spectrum
q - Q Stokes
u - U Stokes
qvar - Q variance spectrum
uvar - U variance spectrum

Note that I've included some unpublished spectra - I've checked with
Jeremy Bailey and he is happy for you to use it as you will.

Published epochs are:

87/3/7
87/5/5
87/6/3
87/6/28
87/7/3-5
87/7/8

and

88/2/8

Unpublished epochs included are:

87/8/10
87/9/1-2
87/10/7
88/1/4

other epochs which do not have useful data:

(87/2/27; 87/7/20; 87/11/2; 87/12/1; 87/12/10; 90/08/11)

Around Christmas 1997/8 I had a summer student working on the couple of epochs
taken after Feb 88 (88/7/29-31, 88/11/25-28) - this project was not finished,
but initial results suggested that the data is too noisy to detect
polarisation at a useful limit. This data is buried even deeper and is not
in a fully reduced state - if you are particularly interested, let me know.
