helium hydride HeH+ diagram

    UNDER RECONSTRUCTION BELOW

Caption: "Structural formula of the helium hydride ion." An ABSTRACT Lewis structure diagram molecule.

    Features:

    1. Note, helium (He,Z=2) is a noble gas and does NOT form molecules, except under extremely high pressure (see Wikipedia: Helium compounds) and under very unusual conditions in in outer space where its abundance is just a trace except perhaps in the early observable universe before the recombination era t = 377,770(3200) Jyr = 1.192*10**13 s (z = 1089.80(21)) (e.g., Stephen Lepp, 2019 "Discovery of the first molecular ion in the Universe". ???? helium hydride ion (HeH+ ??? Helium (He) is, of course, the most abundant element after hydrogen (H) in molecular clouds, but like molecular hydrogen (H_2), it is nearly invisible: it has virtually NO emission in the thermodynamic state of molecular clouds.
