Undergraduate Program

The Department of Physics offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics, Applied Physics, and Computational Physics, as well as a Minor in Physics. The degree requirements for bachelor degrees in Physics, Applied Physics, and Computational Physics, or Physics Minor may be viewed online.

During the summer, there is a Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) program that supports undergraduates to get a taste of research during the 10-weeks of the summer. The REU program is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Students should apply by February or March for the following summer.

There is a Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS), including both graduate and undergraduate students, and welcomes participation by students.
