Hi there! I’m a graduate student attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas working in computational astrophysics. You may be asking yourself ‘what exactly does that mean?’ Well I get this question a lot! Simply put, computational astrophysics is modeling different aspects of the universe with the aide of high speed computers. The output of these models (or simulations) is then taken and compared to observational data. These simulations help us explain the physical processes behind astrophysical phenomenon that would otherwise remain a mystery.
You can navigate this site with the navigation bar at the top which will take you to a page with a mini bio, my personal research and interests, my curriculum vitae, and a compilation of links that I find useful. If you have any questions comments or criticisms do not hesitate to shoot me an email!
