PHYS 152L, GENERAL PHYSICS LABORATORY II
SPRING 2008
Laboratory Manual: D.H. Loyd, "Physics Laboratory Manual,"
3rd Edition (Thomson Brooks/Cole, 2008).
PHYS 152L is part of PHYS 152. You must have a C or better grade in PHYS 152L
in order to pass PHYS 152. There is a total of ten labs plus a review and
final scheduled and you must attend all of them. See details on the handout
from your laboratory instructor.
Points to Note:
- All laboratory sections will begin in the second week of the semester;
- The first laboratory session will be on electrostatics;
- No pre-laboratory assignment for the first laboratory session but
you should review Chapter 18 of the textbook to prepare for it;
- Your laboratory instructor will hand out the schedules and rules in
the first laboratory session.

Week of April 14: Lab 42. Diffraction Grating Measurement of the Wavelength
of Light;
Week of April 21: Review for Lab Final Exam;
Week of April 28: Lab Final Exam.
