Astronomy, Physics, Science, Technology

This is an encyclopedia site mainly devoted to astronomy. But astronomy often involves physics, other sciences, and technology. Thus I've put all the things I found useful here. The links are to images, other sites, papers, and my own descriptions. It is really intended to be a hodge-podge of stuff useful primarily to myself.

I have tried to use only images that are public domain or otherwise free for non-commercial use without express permission. There are a few images whose provenance I have lost track of. I believe that these images fall into the category of no one caring: e.g., typical astronomical images of eclipses and images of a few astronomers. However, if anyone does feel that an image should not be displayed, please contact me and I resolve the problem.
