Danny Koury
Outside my interests in Physics, I have a variety of
hobbies. My Physics
history is very limited as it is so no hate mail
please. The stuff (Physics) just kind of interests me.
Anyhow, I also like to play sports, workout, play music (mostly
guitar; see picture below), travel, and go to church. I am also very humor oriented.
I love "The Farside" cartoons and my favorite TV show is "The
Simpsons".

The demo
of me playing "Here Comes the Sun" is actually a two-track recording I made. The
melody is me playing a classical arrangement for the Beatles's song. The strumming
in the background is the second track in which I am providing accompaniment on my acoustic
guitar.
I
started playing guitar when I was 16. A couple of my friends who played inspired me and
taught me some things to play. One of those friends now plays a Warr Guitar and is really good. Check out his web
page: Dan Howarth. The other friend who
really inspired me was Earl O'dell. He doesn't have a web page but I want to give him
credit for what he has done for me.
Both Dan and Earl are
excellent musicians and would make a fine addition to any band needing backup or lead
instrumental roles. Dan's e-mail info is on his homepage. To contact Earl you can e-mail me.
Anyhow, the guitar really grew
on me and now I play Classical Guitar, taking lessons from Dr. Mark Switzer at Florida Southern College.
