About Me

I am an astrophysics researcher. My primary research interests are gamma-ray bursts and multi-messenger signals from double neutron star mergers. My publications also cover other hot topics in astrophysics, such as fast radio bursts, tidal disruption events as well as using cosmic probes to study cosmology and cosmography.

My research mainly focuses on theoretical study, but I am also interested in data analysis and performing statistical study on broad band observations, espically for gamma-ray bursts and their afterglows.

Current Status

  • Successfully defend my PhD dissertation. March 2014
  • Moving to Penn State for a postdoc position with Prof. Peter Meszaros. August 2014
